UCP students participated in one of the nation’s largest multi-competition event, "UTECH 2007" which was held for the second time on the 9th and 10th of November 2007 in Karachi. This mega-event was hosted by Usman Institute of Technology Computer Society, ACM Student Chapter. Many leading universities from all over the country participated in various competitions held under the auspices of UTECH 2007.
Mr. Farhan Farukh and Mr. Zohaib Iqbal, both students of the Faculty of IT at UCP won the ModulationMax and Software Competitions respectively, while Mr. Basaam Fazal was declared the Runner up in the Need for Speed Underground2.
